Now its this stage of my life, a man living in New Orleans with the continuation of reinvention my style of performing has lead me straight into this smooth mixture of my roots mixed with a new style of free flowing rhythms, its a blending of 'back in the day' meets the anew.<br>Blond Melon...<br>
<br>To hear him pick the songs of  Blind Willie Johnson, Mississippi Sheiks, Leadbelly, Willie Dixon, Hambone Willie Newbern and others really rouses the spirit.  Even more remarkable is the manner in which he brings these songs to life. They are still songs of times long gone, presented as just vocals accompanied by guitar, but these performances have an edge; they have grit and spunk! His renderings are not delicate outings; they ooze vitality and strength pouring out from his soul, a comfortable fresh cool style of playing that's been developed from all the different styles of music he has performed over the years, molding him into a solo act delivering unique musical arrangements’ never heard before.<br><br>Now with additional insider information he has learned over the years like how the songs and lyrics came about and why some tunes were even written in the first place also delivering a mix of blues with a fusion of old time Rock & Roll, Funk, Soul, Rockabilly, Zydeco Jazz and southern Boogie all different genre in one very entertaining evening.
